I.O.R. - Fiber QuickMap™

I.O.R. is an abbreviation for Index of Refraction. Its unit value is n.

The index of refraction is the ratio of the speed of light in a vacuum to the speed of light in a fiber. The Fiber QuickMap™ uses the index of refraction to calculate length. If you increase n, the calculated length decreases. The default is 1.496. This value is satisfactory for most fibers.
