Certified Cabling Test Technician Training Program

Training and certification on the Fluke Networks’ line of copper and fibre certification tools will help you stay competitive in the installation and certification of high-speed structured cabling systems.

The Australia/New Zealand focused CCTT course provides expert level training on the Versiv copper and fibre certification series. Investing this training and certification program will not only improve installer skills, but also their effectiveness and productivity on the job in testing, certifying, and troubleshooting cabling systems.

About the Course:

Classes are offered in both face-to-face and web-based delivery. Both delivery methods are instructor led. Face-to-face classes take place over 1 day and include two sessions, with lunch provided. Web based classes take place over 2 days (usually mornings) and include 2 sessions. Participants in the web-based courses are required to provide their own equipment. A multiple choice exam will take place at the end of the second session. Participants are required to achienve a pass mark in order to receive CCTT certification.

Certified Cabling Test Technician Course Provision - Terms and Conditions

 

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions the following expressions shall have the following meanings:
“Fluke” means Fluke Australia Pty Ltd.

“Client” means the person, company or other legal entity identified as providing a request to Fluke to supply a CCTT Course.

“CCTT” means the Certified Cabling Test Technician course to be provided by Fluke to the Client.

“Confirmation Date” means the date when all the following apply:

  • A request to supply CCTT training has been received from the Client by Fluke.
  • Fluke has confirmed to the Client that the course requested is available and the price is correct.
  • Payment has been received, or alternative payment method agreed.

“Contract” means the contract between Fluke and the Client under which a CCTT course is to be provided by Fluke to the Client.

“Intellectual Property” includes all training materials, course manuals, inventions, patent applications, granted patents, registered and unregistered designs, copyright works, trademarks and confidential information.

“Fluke” means Fluke Australia Pty Ltd.

“Services” means the provision by Fluke of a CCTT course.

“Website” means www.flukenetworks.com.

“Working Day” means every day of the week apart from Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays.  “Month” means a calendar month.  “Week” means seven consecutive days.

 

2. Scope

Unless otherwise agreed by Fluke in writing these Terms and Conditions shall constitute all of the provisions relating to the provision of the Services by Fluke.

 

3. Prices

The price payable for the CCTT course shall be the price published by Fluke on the Website or in other course documentation at the time of course participation inquiry.

Fluke reserves the right to increase the course price from that advertised on the Website or in other course documentation at its discretion and for any reason prior to the course commencement. Where this affects the price payable by the Client and the Client has made payment of the previously advertised price and does not wish to proceed at the increased price a full refund will be payable by Fluke to the Client.

The course price does not include travel, accommodation, meals or other related expenses of the participants, unless explicitly stated by Fluke.

All prices are exclusive of GST, and this will be charged in addition at the appropriate rate.

 

4. Terms of Payment

Where the services relate to the provision of a CCTT training course, payment by credit card, debit card or bank transfer is required no later than 5 Working Days before the course start date.  Special arrangements may be separately agreed in the case of late bookings or specialized tailored course bookings.

 

5. CCTT Training Courses

The contents of the CCTT course are intended for general guidance only in the correct use of Fluke Networks Versiv product range and do not form any part of a contract.  Fluke reserves the right to make any reasonable variations to  the CCTT course, including the content and location of the course, without prior notice.

The indication of course availability and location shown on the Website is for general guidance and does not form any part of a contract.  Please contact Fluke before making any travel or accommodation arrangements, as Fluke will not be liable for any action that you may take in reliance on the information.
 
It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that the delegates meet the prerequisites of the course on which they are booked, and that the course content meets their requirements.
 
Fluke will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care. Any other conditions or warranties whether express or implied as to the quality of the Services are hereby expressly excluded.

Unless otherwise indicated, all courses are delivered solely in English, and all delegates must be sufficiently proficient in the English language before attending a course.

For courses not exclusive to one Client, Fluke reserves the right to refuse admission to the training premises by any person whom they consider in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for admission onto the training premises or to remove any such person after the commencement of the CCTT course.

 

6. Course Duration

Course durations for classroom events and web-based courses will be stated on the Website or in other course documentation.

All classroom-based courses are run on working days only, unless otherwise stated.

All web-based courses are run on working days, over two 4.5-hour sessions.

 

7. Cancellation, Transfers and Substitutions with respect to Training Courses

Fluke reserves the right to cancel or appoint an alternative date for a course.  In such circumstances, Fluke will endeavour to provide notice of cancellation or change to the Client. In the event of cancellation, the Client will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee, but Fluke shall not be liable for any other loss or expense arising.

The Client may cancel the course booking by notifying Fluke in writing by acknowledged email or by recorded delivery as soon as reasonably practicable.  The Client shall also be deemed to have cancelled the course booking if the delegate does not attend the event.  The Client shall be liable to pay a cancellation fee as follows:

For the avoidance of doubt, web-based (online) courses are included as a public scheduled course and subject to the same cancellation conditions as face-to-face courses.

In the event that the delegate is unable to attend the course booked Fluke will endeavour to transfer the delegate to an alternative course.  Fluke understands that sometimes work commitments and issues beyond the delegates control can arise.

Fluke will endeavour to accommodate requests by the Client to substitute one delegate for another but is under no obligation to do so.  Such requests are subject to the replacement delegate meeting the pre-requisites for the course

 

8. Liability

Flukes’ total liability for any loss or damage arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the price payable for the Services, except in cases of direct physical damage to the Client’s property, personal injury or death.

Fluke shall not be liable howsoever caused for indirect or consequential loss including but not limited to loss of profits; loss of revenue; loss of goodwill; loss of data; failure to achieve savings.

 

9. Force Majeure

Fluke shall not be in breach of the Contract if there is any total or partial failure of performance by it of its duties and obligations under the Contract occasioned by any act of God, fire, act of government or state, war, civil commotion, insurrection, embargo, prevention from or hindrance from obtaining any raw materials or energy, pandemic, sickness or other cause beyond its reasonable control.

If Fluke is unable to perform its duties and obligations under the Contract as a direct result of one or more such causes, Fluke shall give written notice to the Client of such inability stating the cause in question. 

 

10. Data Protection and Confidentiality

The policy of Fluke with respect to handling of personal data is published at https://www.fluke.com/en-au/fluke/privacy-policy and should be read in conjunction with these Terms and Conditions.

All Intellectual Property associated with CCTT courses shall remain vested in the owner, be it Fluke or others.

Where training courses are web-based learning products, then the Client shall abide by all reasonable terms of any licence agreement applicable.

Intellectual Property which is identified as, or can reasonably be deemed to be, confidential shall not be copied or reproduced or disclosed to any third party without the prior written consent of Fluke or the relevant third party intellectual property owner.  The Client shall ensure that its employees and all those under the Client’s control and supervision comply with this obligation.

 

11. General

The Contract shall only become effective at the Confirmation Date.

Any typographical clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, administrative documentation, course materials, invoice or other document or information issued by Fluke shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Fluke.

No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Fluke.

Fluke may assign or sub-contract the whole or any part of the Contract to any person, firm or company.
