Overview

Troubleshoot copper, fiber optic and Wi-Fi network problems from a client device to cloud-hosted applications and everything in between - even when you are not there. Troubleshoot persistent problems and validate network performance on-site in real-time. Troubleshoot intermittent problems and identify vulnerabilities by automatically uploading results to the cloud for web-based performance trending and root cause analysis.

Network technicians spend 25 percent of their time troubleshooting—taking time away from critical tasks such as deploying new technologies, and optimizing network performance. With most problems requiring an hour or more to solve and 40% requiring escalation, end-user productivity also suffers. Based on a recent Fluke Networks’ study, 72% of IT organizations operate without a standardized troubleshooting process. Making the situation worse is the fact that intermittent problems take more than twice as long to solve, and that staff spends on average five hours a week traveling to and from problem sites. (Read Whitepaper)

When IT organizations standardize the troubleshooting process, technicians of various skill levels can solve more problems and be confident in the resolution.

The OneTouch™ AT Network Assistant

Reduces troubleshooting time by standardizing network troubleshooting:

  1. An All-in-one device for wired and Wi-Fi network analysis and discovery
  2. Unique AutoTest profiles that provide “best practice” troubleshooting methods for novice and expert technicians and identify the most common end user issues in about a minute
  3. Automated test trending and a cloud-based service that deliver long term results analytics and charting for faster identification of intermittent issues – even when technician is away
  4. Enhanced team collaboration through a simple web-remote interface and easy-to-use inline packet capture capability

By improving each step of the process, the OneTouch AT helps novice and expert network technicians solve more problems faster, escalate issues more efficiently and validate performance easily - saving up to a week of time each month.

“As a small team that’s always on the go, we can’t possibly have everything always at hand for network troubleshooting. At least, that’s what I thought until I tried the OneTouch AT. All I can say is ‘wow’ – it really covers everything from basic cable testing to overall network performance on wired, wireless and fiber. So no matter what we face we’re ready.” – Tony Peffley, system/network administrator, Elkhart County

"Black Belt Wireless provides wired and wireless networking support services to a wide variety of clients. The first step in helping to diagnose and solve issues is to use the Fluke Networks One Touch to map and identify problems in the network. This tool is great and takes the place of several tools that would be used to test wire, fiber, wireless and such. Great Job Fluke Networks!"

Maximising ROI from data center virtualization and consolidation through end user performance management
Has your consolidated and virtualised data center delivered the benefits you expected? Or are you planning a consolidation project and wondering how to manage performance in the new environment? With virtualised applications, it can be difficult to measure performance from an end user perspective. Our paper examines the challenges of managing performance in a consolidated and virtualised environment, from obtaining the data for management and BU reporting to ensuring applications deliver on agreed SLAs.

    Passavant Hospital Case Study

Fluke Networks’ OneTouch™ AT Replaces Unwieldy Collection of Network Troubleshooting Tools for Passavant Hospital

    Challenge:
Passavant Area Hospital’s fifteen person department is responsible for both the typical desktops, servers and network infrastructure, and also keeping the hospital’s wireless Computer on Wheels (COW) carts operating, which are critical to maintaining patient care. As a result, it is imperative that networking and IT issues are quickly identified and resolved. The hospital’s primary resource for doing this is a laptop with various diagnostic tools and a cable tester – an unwieldy combination that inevitably increases the time for testing and diagnosis. Quick Troubleshooter, Oct 25, 2013

I must admit I had a rough start when I got my OneTouch, but what brought me back was the outstanding support staff. They actually listened to my frustrations and helped me resolve them. I can't tell you the last time I have had a good experience with a company's support. It was a nice change of pace
Pros: Great for getting basic tests out of the way with a single button. When paired with another device it can test speed from A to B. (Wireless Too) Works as a Tap so you know you have all of the information Can tell you when NON 802.11 traffic is taking up bandwidth (like a microwave) Added Features with updates (need Gold Support)
Cons: On the Expensive side (but compare to multiple devices to achieve the same goals) Needs a companion device to do speed test
