OVR - PentaScanner

The last PentaScanner left the factory back on March 31, 2004. We regret to say support ended March 31, 2008. It's replaced by the Versiv familly of testers
Return Loss
If (Over range) is displayed, the Return Loss is less than 20 dB.
If (Over range) is displayed, the Impedance is greater than 200 ohms, the cable is less than 40 feet long, or the cable/pair is not connected.
Impulse Noise
Count indicates the cumulative count of impulses detected since the start of the measurement. When the Count exceeds 65535, (Over Range) is displayed. In an Over Range condition, the last average CPS (Counts Per Second) recorded is displayed.
Peak-to-Peak Noise
If the Peak-to-Peak noise level exceeds 3,000 mV, (Over Range) is displayed.
DC Loop Resistance
If (Over Range) is displayed, the Loop Resistance is greater than 10K ohms.
If (Over Range) is displayed, the Capacitance is greater than can be measured or the cable is properly connected.
