Check fiber connections. The measured power levels are........ DTX-EFM2

If you get the following message;

            Check Fiber Connections Error Message in DTX-EFM2

"Check fiber connections. The measured power levels are outside the range expected for setting a reference.", then your Test Reference Cords are either bad/dirty or the ports on the DTX-EFM2 modules are dirty/bad. A simple inspection using the FiberInspector™ Mini should reveal if the end faces need cleaning or are damaged and in need of replacement.

This warning will appear when the reference values fall outside of the following ranges:

Smart Remote Mode
            DTX-EFM2: -17.5 dBm to -27.0 dBm

In this example, if we pressed F2 OK you would have been presented with:

            Smart Remote Mode Reference Values

Where we clearly see that the measured power has dropped outside of the expected range for this DTX-EFM2.
