To address the demands of your increasingly complex network architecture, the AccessView System offers a unique, compact, and modular platform.
The AccessView Response Unit interfaces to Class 5 and soft switches and provides loop telephone identification, loop conditions and transmission testing. The modular design dramatically reduces your deployment costs as a single Response Unit communicates with and controls numerous remote Test Units. This allows an extremely cost effective solution for addressing testing needs at remote cabinets with smaller line counts.
This unit is also the conduit to Fluke Networks’ OSS products, giving access to additional features such as batch schedule testing and performance monitoring. The Response Unit allows:
- Voice and DTMF telephone number identification
- Loop conditioning
- Transmission testing functionality
- Switch interfaces for drop battery
The AccessView Test Unit provides comprehensive parametric testing and diagnostic capabilities. The automated test features reduce repeats, improve productivity, and ensure standardized workflows for quality service. In addition, the Test Unit provides standard local web page for complete on-demand testing functionality so a separate Element Management system is not required for smaller operation. The Test Unit provides:
- Comprehensive parametric testing and diagnostic capabilities
- On-demand 5-point step test
- Unique 12-step double-ended technician job close-out testing
- DSL pre-qualification from any point in the loop
The AccessView Bus Expansion Unit is used to connect an AccessView Test Unit to multiple switch or Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) Test Busses. The Bus Unit allows a single Test Unit to connect to multiple test busses reducing deployment costs especially in larger Central Offices and remote DLC cabinets. The WideApeture Element Manager software is designed to monitor and manage all of the AccessView units in the network from a single station, in real time, regardless of geographical location.
Features include:
- On-demand testing - performs on-demand testing of customer line and provides automated results analysis to isolate if trouble is in the exchange, in the facility, or in the customer premise. This allows you to dispatch the right technician to the right location, eliminating wasted dispatches
- DSL testing - performs query of DSLAM to provide line performance data and DSL bit-rate predictions in conjunction with AccessView testing
- AccessView administration - powerful administration including routine monitoring of all AccessView, detection of alarms and automated software upgrades to AccessView units
- Open Web Services API - web services API allows other OSS to easily interface to WideApeture to perform testing, allowing seamless integration into existing test and call center operation
Tailor the system to your specific requirements by selecting the products and features you need. As you deploy new technologies, you can easily add new test modules. The AccessView products are backwards compatible with other Fluke Networks' test systems.
