OptiView Series III v5.3 new release features:
- Enhanced device discovery now includes IPv6 devices, VoIP devices from Cisco, Nortel, Avaya and Mitel, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Lightweight Access Points and Wireless Clients to assist in deployment and solving configuration issues
- Improved protocol recognition with a breakdown of ICMP messages (both IPv4 and IPv6), protocols running under IPv6 and identification of non well known protocols by displaying TCP and/or UDP port numbers with the ability to identify top hosts and conversations
- Remote device Log-In using SSH
- Application Troubleshooting option provides WIN server statistics, IPv6 application connectivity tests and TCP port scan
- Free string match filtering and triggers with the ability to control capture and provide detailed analysis extended to support IPv6
- Gigabit line-rate throughput testing with the LinkRunner Pro Reflector
- Wireless LAN Infrastructure analysis option from the wired side of the network
- IPv6 analysis option
