Complete solution for testing and certifying high-speed fiber networks
Fluke Networks offers the most complete line of Fiber Test Adapters for testing and certifying Singlemode, Gigabit and Multimode fiber optic cabling systems. These Fiber Test Adapters are high-performance, high-productivity fiber test options for the DSP-4000 Digital CableAnalyzer Series.
The DSP Fiber Test Adapters:
- Test two fibers and two wavelengths simultaneously and automatically save the results
- Perform bi-directional testing on both fibers-under-test and save results in one record
- Utilize Fluke Networks' LinkWare™ Software for comprehensive results management and report generation
- Automatically measure length and propagation delay
- Verify optical connectivity and determine which fibers go to which connectors at a patch panel
- Communicate with the person on the other end of the fiber
- Track the maximum and minimum power throughput of the test
- Withstand drops and other mishaps that occur on the job
DSP-FTA440S Gigabit Multimode Fiber Test Adapter
The DSP-FTA440S Fiber Test Adapter is the world's first dual-fiber, VCSEL-based tester for testing multimode fiber running Gigabit Ethernet. The FTA440S uses a VCSEL source at 850 nm and a FP Laser light source at 1310 nm. It accurately measures loss and length (up to 5000 meters) to ensure compliance with Gigabit Ethernet standards.
DSP-FTA430S Singlemode Fiber Test Adapter
Designed for singlemode fiber installations, the DSP-FTA430S Fiber Test Adapter provides automatic, dual-fiber loss testing and certification at both 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths. It measures length up to 10,000 meters to ensure compliance to application standards. Because the FTA430S uses the same laser light sources as the network transmission hardware, it provides accurate, uncompromised test results.
DSP-FTA420S Multimode Fiber Test Adapter
The DSP-FTA420S Fiber Test Adapter easily and accurately measures loss and length on multimode fiber using LED light sources. Its enhanced dynamic range enables it to test both 850 nm and 1300 nm multimode wavelengths to 5000 meters.
