The heart of the EXP System is the Central Office (CO) based rack-mounted device which performs automated loop conditioning, testing and analysis, while capturing test data. The DATA EXP can be used as a standalone device or it can be deployed as part of the EXP System.
Technicians invoke DATU EXP tests and conditions the line remotely using the Insight EXP Test Set, enabling assessment of physical and electrical characteristics of a line from any point on the loop. Technicians can also direct the DATU EXP unit to place conditions on a line through DTMF tones from a standard butt-in test set. Delivers automated, comprehensive line testing to your standards to ensure that all tests are run each time. Parameters can be tailored by CO for areas where Pass parameters may need to be relaxed. This unit guarantees completion of work by checking to see if test results still pass and staying on top of results. As with the original DATU, up to 27 conditions can be placed on a line via DTMF Test.
