CA and Fluke Networks have improved the troubleshooting process by integrating CA's Unicenter® Network and Systems Management and Unicenter® ServicePlus Service Desk with OptiView Console, OptiView Network Analyzer, and EtherScope Network Assistant from Fluke Networks. When CA Unicenter® NSM displays certain types of errors, the engineer can launch the OptiView Console's user interface from within Unicenter NSM, and begin troubleshooting the problem right away. Trouble tickets can be automatically opened within the Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk application and sent an engineer close to the problem. Diagnostic information is presented on the Fluke Networks' device used at the scene. After repair, the trouble ticket can be closed remotely.
