The OptiView Link Analyzer supports 10/100BASE-T and three different versions of Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX and 1000BASE-T) using hot-swappable GBIC MAU interfaces. The Link Analyzer is shipped with a pair of 1000BASE-SX GBIC MAU interfaces.

When connecting to a link between switches, the OptiView Link Analyzer will automatically decode 802.1Q and ISL frames, in real-time, offering unique VLAN statistics at the core switch level.  Top users and conversations can then be tracked per VLAN id, without having to make any special configurations.
