OptiFiber simplifies OTDR analysis by automating certification and troubleshooting. In Auto OTDR mode OptiFiber automatically:

• optimizes launch conditions for the best resolution
• makes dual wavelength OTDR measurements - 850/1300 nm or 1310/1550 nm
• identifies and characterizes the fiber link and its events
• compares the results to user-defined limits for immediate pass/fail link and event certification
• saves time spent setting and moving cursors

For advanced troubleshooting you can view a trace at two wavelengths. Automatically step from one event to the next and zoom in on those of interest. Measure event loss. Events are also summarized in a table. Save the information for LinkWare reporting.

You may also choose to operate OptiFiber in manual mode so you can set the test parameters yourself.
