Certified Cabling Test Technician (CCTT) Basic Course (2 Day)

Due to customer demand, we are expanding the CCTT course into two separate days of training focusing your specialization – copper or fiber certification.
Each day will be a fruitful one which covers the current standards and provides hands-on training with the DTX Cable Analyzer.

You can register for one or both days of CCTT training as follows:

UTP Copper Cabling Certification:

  • Review of the current TIA standards for “in-channel” certification of Category 5e up through the recently approved Category 6A.
  • Extensive hands-on with factory supplied DTX Cable Analyzers is provided for in-channel testing and troubleshooting of UTP copper systems.
  • New exercises to analyze real world test results and learn how to troubleshoot real cabling installation problems.
  • Demonstration of Alien Crosstalk testing with the DTX-10Gig Alien Crosstalk modules.

UTP Copper Cabling Certification:

  • Overview of fiber optic basics and current testing standards from both the TIA and IEEE committees.
  • Basic optical loss/length testing and introduction to OTDRs.
  • Hands-on exercises with equipment provided by the factory to perform basic loss/length testing

Who should attend:  The course is designed for contractors and enterprise network owners who currently own or anticipate purchasing DTX series cable certification equipment.

Why attend:  The CCTT course provides "expert" level training on the DTX cable analyzer series. Investing in the Fluke Networks Certified Cabling Test Technician program will not only improve installation skills, but also your effectiveness and productivity on the job testing, certifying and troubleshooting cabling systems.

Cost:  S$856.00 inclusive of GST (per person per day)

Payment information will be collected by a Fluke Networks’ representative via e-mail or phone a few days after completing the online registration. Note that payment is due one week before the class commence.
