The service works by making delivery trucks and vans an extension of the network using wireless Blackberry® business phones. The sales force carries up-to-date inventories with them. When the company receives an order, dispatchers are able to intercept the routes of their delivery vans and transfer custom shipments from larger trucks. The customer receives their order on their shipping dock within 24 hours.
